This book design was produced for my final year’s thesis which investigated the semiotics of fashion imagery, decoding of advertising and how glamour evoked visual seduction. The layout itself was given a fragmented look to reflect the idea of visual elements as building blocks and explores visual manufacturing in a form of construction and deconstruction. Another key element is the use of golden colour as over-the-top glamour representation.
